The Aviva Stadium on Landsdowne Road is well served by The DART train service. Walk from The Anchor House Dublin for 3 minutes, across Butt Bridge to Tara Street Station. It is best to purchase a return ticket from the Tara Street ticket vending machines, so as to save time on the return journey from Landsdowne Road Aviva Stadium. Go to the southbound platform & travel south, getting off at the second stop which is “Grand Canal Dock”. It is usual to get off at The Grand Canal Dock, one stop short of Landsdowne Road Aviva Stadium, on the day of an event or a football match at Landsdowne Road Aviva Stadium. This is done for crowd control purposes.

The FAI use the Aviva Stadium for any of the Rep. of Ireland international home games, the FIFA World Cup Qualifier games will be played here in 2012 & 2013.
