It is best to purchase a return ticket from the Tara Street ticket vending machines, so as to save time on the return journey from Landsdowne Road Aviva Stadium. Go to the southbound platform & travel south, getting off at the second stop which is “Grand Canal Dock”. It is usual to get off at The Grand Canal Dock, one stop short of Landsdowne Road Aviva Stadium, on the day of an event or a football match at Landsdowne Road Aviva Stadium. This is done for crowd control purposes.
