Croke Park is the National Stadium for the GAA, or Gaelic Athletic Association. This Association was founded in Thurles in 1884, to promote national athletics and sport. Croke Park has a capacity of 82,000. Croke Park has always been home to the annual national Senior Football & Hurling championships.

Croke Park is also the home of the GAA Museum. The Museum has many historic exhibits, recording the many famous names & duels of the past. The Museum Tour includes a visit to the dressing rooms, & VIP suites.

A Restaurant & Gift shop is situated at Croke Park Museum.
The Museum is usually open Mon – Fri from 09.30 – 17.00.

2012 Croke Park Concerts

Westlife at Croke ParkWestlife Farewell Tour

Westlife will now play two dates in Croke Park on the 22nd and 23rd of June 2012.

Due to Phenomenal demand an extra date in Croke Park on the 22nd of June has been added to the Westlife Farewell tour. Westlife launch their “Greatest Hits” Album on November 21st and they will be supported by “The Wanted” in Croke Park on Saturday 23rd of June.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers will play in Croke Park on the 26th June 2012.

Following the recent release of their tenth studio album I’m With You earlier this year MCD is proud to announce that Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to Ireland in June 2012 to perform a massive open-air show — their only Irish date of 2012. Red Hot Chili Peppers will take to the stage at Croke Park, Dublin on 26 June 2012.
